Savannah Taft joined the LeTourneau track and field programs as an assistant coach in 2026.
Taft is a graduate of LeTourneau and competed for the YellowJackets for two seasons (2021-22). Taft holds the program's indoor high jump record at 1.57 meters and holds a top-five performer spot in the indoor 60-meter hurdles at 10.06 as well as a top-five mark in the 55-meter hurdles (10.05). She held the program record in the outdoor high jump at 1.54 meters.
She earned USTFCCCAÂ Indoor All-Region honors in the high jump in 2021 and was an ASC Field Athlete of the Week during the same season. Taft was a USTFCCCAÂ All-Academic honoree in 2021 and a two-time ASC Academic All-Conference selection.
She graduated from LeTourneau in 2024 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
