Michael McLaughlin began his senior season with a 1-1 record, last week with a win at No. 1 singles against Hardin-Simmons and loss to McMurry. He posted a 7-5, 3-6, 10-7 win over Griffin Weinkam, who is one of the top newcomers in the American Southwest Conference in 2016.
