Volleyball Falls to Schreiner, 3-0, at Dig Pink Crossover

Box Score

RICHARDSON, Texas – LeTourneau volleyball fell in three sets to Schreiner (25-15, 25-16, 25-15) in the first match of the ASC Dig Pink Crossover Challenge II.

"We continue to struggle in stretches," LeTourneau head coach Scott Peluso said. "Schreiner is the type of team that does not make many mistakes, so you have to play a pretty solid game with as few errors as possible. They executed better than we did, but we continue to grow and learn what it takes to compete."

Kayla Ronda was on the attack for much of the match for the YellowJackets, recording six kills while adding seven digs and a block assist. Ellie Barber and Jo Runnels had six kills apiece, Sarah Krippner and Kelsie Doran both had nine assists, Kayla Bonina had 11 digs, and Shannon Syme recorded 10 digs for LETU.

Schreiner was led by Callie De Perier (13 kills), Veronica Castillo (11 kills), and Jaemi Groves (31 assists).
