BELTON, Texas – LeTourneau volleyball was defeated, 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-11), by Mary Hardin-Baylor on the road Tuesday night at Mayborn Campus Center.

"It was a rough night for our team," LeTourneau volleyball head coach Scott Peluso said. "We did not play with a great deal of confidence. UMHB executed at a very high level tonight, and we just could not match their intensity. We struggled early and just could not get into a flow. Hopefully we can use this as a learning experience and continue to grow as a team."

Kayla Ronda (Chandler, Ariz.) led LeTourneau on the evening with five kills and eight digs. Sarah Krippner (Oceanside, Calif.) led the YellowJackets with seven assists. Kelsie Doran (Seabrook, Texas) and Alli Bordelon (Port Neches, Texas) had five digs apiece for LETU.

LeTourneau will play its home opener Friday night at 7 p.m., against Mississippi College, and the YellowJackets will play a doubleheader at home Saturday against East Texas Baptist (2 p.m.) and Jarvis Christian (4:30 p.m.).
