Volleyball Falls to Texas-Dallas, 3-0

Box Score

RICHARDSON, Texas – Freshman Haley Holthouser had six kills and four service aces, both team highs, but LeTourneau volleyball was defeated, 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-5), by Texas-Dallas on the road Tuesday night at the UTD Activity Center.

"We did some good things in the first set and parts of the second," LeTourneau volleyball head coach Scott Peluso said. "We were very aggressive early, but UTD was executing at a very high level and we did not adjust to their offense. We continue to learn, and I am encouraged every day with the positive attitudes and commitment to improving this team shows every day."

Freshman Kayla Ronda had five kills and nine digs, sophomore Kelsie Doran had a team-high nine assists to go along with nine digs, and freshman Alli Bordelon had a team-high 13 digs for the YellowJackets.

LeTourneau continues its road swing Friday at 7 p.m. at Texas-Tyler. The YellowJackets will then face off with Dallas Christian College and the University of Dallas Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
