TYLER, Texas – LeTourneau split its two matches Friday at the UT Tyler Volleyball Invitational, defeating Centenary, 3-1, and falling to Millsaps College, 3-0.

"The girls came out on fire and ready to play," LeTourneau Assistant Volleyball Coach Sandra Campbell said of the victory over Centenary. "They've really grown the past few weeks as individuals, but most of all as a team, and that was evident in this win.

"From every win and loss comes a lesson to be learned," Campbell added. "These girls are still trying to find their 'groove', but they are working hard. We still have a lot to work on, but they've come a long way already."

LeTourneau will conclude action at the UT Tyler Invitational Saturday, as the YellowJackets face Hendrix College at 11:30 a.m., and Texas College at 2:30 p.m. Stats for all matches at the tournament are pending, and will be released as soon as they are available.
