LeTourneau University freshman Dolores Kroese nearly had her fifth double double of the season with nine kills and 15 digs in a 25-19, 25-17, 25-16 loss to Concordia (Texas) in the ASC Inter-pod Tournament hosted by East Texas Baptist in Marshall.

YellowJackets Lose to East Texas Baptist at ASC Inter-pod Tournament

Box Score The LeTourneau University volleyball team lost to East Texas Baptist, 25-18, 25-17, 25-17 on Friday afternoon at the ASC Inter-pod Tournament hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss.

The YellowJackets (6-20, 1-11) fell victim to a hot-hitting ETBU squad that hit .274 in the win. The LETU attack was led by freshman Dolores Kroese who had eight kills, 10 digs and a service ace in the defeat.

Adaeze Elonu led ETBU with eight kills and six blocks while Kassie Freitag added six kills. The frontline for ETBU combined for eight total team blocks.
 
LeTourneau will wrap up its trip to the ASC Inter-pod at Mississippi College with a 10 a.m. contest against the host Choctaws, followed by a noon matchup against University of Texas-Tyler.
