University of Texas-Dallas extended a 1-0 halftime lead with three goals in the final 45 minutes en route to a 4-0 win over the LeTourneau University women's soccer team on Thursday night in Richardson.

The YellowJackets (3-5-1, 0-1) and the Comets (8-1, 2-0) waited an hour before the start of the contest. UTD's Carli Beckett ended the scoreless contest in the 25
th minute with a goal on a deflection after a long shot by teammate Megan Mugavero for her 10
th goal of the season. LETU junior goalkeeper
Jamie Aguillen made six saves in the first 45 minutes to keep the contest at 1-0. Aguillen ended the contest with 11 saves.

In the second half, LeTourneau started the second half with a scoring opportunity by freshman
JoLynn O'Kelley in the 46
th minute that was blocked by the UTD defense. Later in the half, in a 14-minute span, UTD scored three times to stretch the lead to 4-0. In the 14-minute span, Alissa Bunch scored twice in the 56
th and 70
th minute and Mugavero added a goal in the 62
nd minute for the Comets.

Next, the YellowJackets will have a rematch on Saturday at the University of the Ozarks on Saturday at 1 p.m. Earlier this year, the two teams played to a 0-0 tie in Longview on Sept. 13.
