With 1:01 left in regulation, Concordia midfielder Nicole Young emerged from a scramble in the box for the game-winning goal to lead the Tornados to a 1-0 win over LeTourneau University on Saturday afternoon.
The YellowJackets (5-9-2, 2-6-1 ASC) had battled tightly on defense throughout the match until the game-winning goal by Young. LETU best opportunities came when sophomore
Stephanie Vana had an attempt in the first half that sailed high and a shot by freshman
JoLynn O'Kelley was saved by Megan Frontiera to keep the match scoreless in the 58
th minute.

The Tornados (6-4-3, 3-3-1 ASC) controlled the match with an aggressive offensive presence. Concordia out shot LETU, 18 to 4 in the win. Jordan James, who had the assist on the game-winning goal, led the offense with seven shots. Goalkeepers Kila Hartom and Megan Frontiera split time in goal for Concordia.

LeTourneau will close out the 2014 season on Friday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. when they host McMurry, who will rejoin the conference in 2015. Prior to the match, the YellowJackets will recognize its three seniors –
