The LeTourneau University volleyball team dropped a 25-10, 25-17, 25-14 decision to UT Dallas on Tuesday night on Senior Night at Solheim Arena.

The YellowJackets (10-19, 4-10 ASC) were led by sophomore
Dolores Kroese, who had 10 kills and three block assists in the defeat. Senior
Shannon Syme, who was recognized in pre-match ceremonies, had six digs and an assist in her final home match of her career. Junior
Alli Bordelon had 16 digs and setters sophomore
Alyssa Eden and freshman
Nicole Mosley had nine and eight assists, respectively.

The Comets (18-8, 12-4 ASC) controlled the match from nearly start to finish. Taylour Toso had a solid all-around match with 10 kills, two block solos and four block assists to lead UT Dallas. Toso led an attack that hit .323 and teammates Samantha Schwenke, Mereidth Crawford and Michelle Toro each had seven kills. Kiara Jordan set the attack with 33 assists and three-different players recorded double-digit digs in the win.

LeTourneau will close out the 2014 season at Concordia in Austin on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. and at Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 3 p.m.
