The LeTourneau University women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with Ozarks on Saturday afternoon.

The YellowJackets (2-3-1) registered 22 shots in the tie for its most since a 26-shot effort against Schreiner on October 26, 2012. Sophomore
Stephanie Vana had a team-high nine shots in the contest. Junior goalkeeper
Jamie Aguillen had six saves for her second shutout of the season.

The Eagles (2-4-1) were kept in the contest on the strength of its goalkeeper play from Mary Eoff, who registered 12 saves for her second shutout of the season.

John Antonisse was proud of the effort of his team. "The team battled a very tough opponent and learned many valuable lessons in today's contest."
LeTourneau had opportunities throughout the contest including a pair in the second overtime by freshman
Riley Scarborough that were blocked in the 104
th minute and sailed wide in the 109
th minute.

Ozarks midfielder Brittanie Gragg led the Eagles attack with five of the nine shots including a pair of chances in regulation in the 67
th and 68
th minute. On both attempts, LETU goalkeeper
Jamie Aguillen picked up saves to preserve the shutout.

Next, LeTourneau will travel for the first time on the season when they face Southwestern Assemblies of God in Waxahachie at 1 p.m.
