Austin College (3-0) took an early 1-0 lead when Kyli Scott scored in the 37
th minute. The freshman midfielder from Grapevine scored when teammate Shannon Smith connected with Scott on the left side from nearly 15 yards out for the goal.
Before LeTourneau would equalize, in the second half, freshman
JoLynn O'Kelley and Gould had chances in the 54

th minute that were scooped up by Austin College goalkeeper Franchesca Lozoya, who made seven saves between the posts.

Jamie Aguillen had a strong game in goal for the YellowJackets. The junior from San Antonio pushed away chances including a go-ahead opportunity in the 84
th minute that led to overtime.
In the overtime, neither team scored in the first 10 minutes before Austin College came away with the game-winning goal in the fourth minute of the second overtime.
The YellowJackets will return to action on Friday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the men's program against former ASC member, Schreiner.
