The YellowJackets (5-4, 3-1 ASC) got on the board early in the win when the sophomore forward scored her fifth goal of the season on a breakaway after picking up a pass from sophomore

Bridey Davis had two saves for her third shutout of the season.
The Eagles (2-7-2, 1-3 ASC) had four shots in the lost including a team-high two from Hannah Carter. Ozarks goalkeeper Megan Bradford made three saves in her 90 minutes of action.
"We're happy to get the win and be 3-1 in the ASC," said LETU head coach
John Antonisse. "Stephanie (Vana) stood out defensively and Kennedy (Keer) did offensively in the win."
It is the third time in four years that the contest between the two schools has been decided by a goal. LETU junior midfielder
Stephanie Vana had seven shots as the YellowJackets outshot the Eagles, 12-4 in the win.
Next on the schedule for LETU is a pair of home contests against Louisiana College (Fri., Oct. 9 at 1 p.m.) and Belhaven (Sat., Oct. 10 at 1 p.m.), respectively.
