Southwestern Assemblies of God University scored four unanswered goals to rally for a 4-3 overtime win over the LeTourneau University women's soccer team.

LeTourneau (2-3) built a 3-0 lead on the visiting Lions with sophomore
Kennedy Keer scoring her second and third goals of the season. Keer, a forward from Gambrills, Maryland, put LeTourneau ahead 1-0 when she scored from 15 yards out in the 26
th minute. She lofted a shot over the side of the goal from the right side for the early lead.

st minute, freshman
Sarah Harder scored her first college goal when she picked up a rebound of a
Cici Fondren shot to the lower right for a 2-0 lead in favor of the host YellowJackets. Keer and LETU extended its lead to 3-0, converting on a corner kick after a pass from junior
Raylene Gould in the 49
th minute.

Southwestern Assemblies of God (4-1) got on the board in the 50
th minute when Nadine James made a penalty kick to cut the deficit to 4-1. Then, in a three-minute span, Joy Reyes and Mia Ory scored in the 69
th and 72
nd minute, respectively to tie the game. With the game tied at 3, three shots by the YellowJackets'
Stephanie Vana were blocked by the SAGU defense.

In the overtime, the Lions quickly challenged the YellowJacket defense with a series of shots including an attempt by Laura Barba on a breakaway that she went to the lower right in the 98
th minute past the LETU goalkeeper for the game-winning goal.

The YellowJackets will now turn its attention to American Southwest Conference play when they host Sul Ross State on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. It will be the first meeting in program history.
