LeTourneau women's soccer dropped a 2-0 decision to UT Tyler on Saturday as a two minute stretch turned out to be the difference in the game.
The YellowJackets (3-5-1, 0-2-1 ASC) played tough in the first half as the defense was able to contain the Patriot attacks and sophomore goalkeeper
Bridey Davis had four of our her six saves.
UT Tyler came out quickly in the second half as the Patriots put in two goals in the 49
th and 51
st minute to take the 2-0 lead.
That short two minute stretch proved to be the difference in the game as the YellowJackets were able to put more pressure on the Tyler defense with opportunities of their own.
Kennedy Keer made the switch to the top and had four shots for LETU.
LeTourneau women's soccer will be back in ASC action on Friday in Jackson, Mississippi as the YellowJackets take on Belhaven University at 5 PM.
