Two second half goals would be the difference as LeTourneau men's soccer fell to UMHB in an ASC matchup on Friday night in Belton.
 
A back and forth first half would yield no goals for either side as the two went into the break knotted at 0-0.
 
Junior Brian Howell made nine saves in the match tying his career high set on September 10^th in a game against SAGU.
 
The Crusaders would score early in the second half as McKenna Cook was able to find the back of the net. UMHB added another in the 63^rd minute to push the lead to 2-0.
 
The YellowJackets (5-8-2, 2-5 ASC) would respond eight minutes later as Noah Peters played a ball into the box meant for freshman Justin Rojas. A Crusaders defender attempted to make a play on the ball but it deflected into the net for a LeTourneau goal.
 
LETU made a late game push but weren't able to capitalize as they dropped to UMHB 2-1.
 
The LeTourneau men will be back in action tomorrow night as they take on the Tornadoes from Concordia University Texas at 7:30 in Austin.
