Zachariah Malik scored the lone goal for the YellowJackets as he received a pass from teammate
Nefi Illescas across the box and was able to rifle it home to put LeTourneau up 1-0 in the 16
th minute. The goal was the fourth of the season for the Austin, Texas native who has been a solid target for the LETU attack all season long.

It was a physical matchup with multiple stoppages of play for injuries throughout the game.
Israel Madrid and Alec Weir also had great opportunities early in the 1
st half that tailed just outside of the posts as the YellowJackets put eight shots on goal in the game.
The Warhawks sent six shots towards goalkeeper
Brian Howell who made five saves in the draw including a spectacular diving save to keep the score tied nil-nil in the 14
th minute.

McMurry would score early in the second half as Martin Ornelas found the back of the net to tie the game at one goal apiece.

The YellowJackets would continue to put pressure on the Warhawks defense but weren't able to find the net after 110 minutes played and the game would end in a 1-1 tie.
The overtime draw was the final game for six YellowJacket seniors who gave four years of hard work and dedication to the LETU men's soccer program.
