LeTourneau University women's soccer finished the weekend with a 2-0 win over Louisiana College in Pineville on Friday night.
Junior
Kennedy Keer found the back of the net when she received an assist from teammate
Stephanie Vana in the 12
th minute to give LeTourneau a 1-0 lead. Keer led the YellowJacket attack as she put four shots on goal.
Kennedy got back in the action late in the game as she played a ball to freshman
Xanthe Sanchez who would score her second goal of the season in the final minute.
The YellowJackets outshot Louisiana College 28-2 with LETU taking 14 shots in each half. The LETU defense played lights out as they kept the Wildcats from recording any shots on goal as
Bridey Davis earned her first shutout of the season and fifth of her career.
LeTourneau improves to 5-5-1 on the season and get their first conference win to improve to 1-3-1 in the ASC.

The YellowJackets will return home next weekend for ASC matchups with UT Dallas on Friday and Howard Payne on Saturday, both games at 5 PM.
