The LeTourneau University volleyball team will be recognizing and honoring members of the Longview Police Department on Wednesday at Police Officer Appreciation Night as the YellowJackets take on Centenary College (LA).
 
"In an effort to support our local law enforcement officers and members of our community we are excited to welcome the men and women who work to make Longview a great place to live," said head coach Scott Peluso.
 
The match against Centenary will take place at Solheim Arena on the campus of LeTourneau University at 7 PM with a short ceremony before the player introductions. All officers are welcome and encouraged to attend for a fun night of volleyball and recognition for their sacrifice and service.
