LETU Drops Three Set Match to Sul Ross State

LeTourneau University volleyball fell in three sets to the Lobos at the first ASC East/West crossover weekend.
 
The YellowJackets (6-10, 0-2 ASC) struggled at the net hitting just .094 as a team through three sets.
 
Junior Savanna Stutts led LETU with seven kills while senior Jenny Olejar and sophomore Ashlyn Johnson put down six of their own. Nicole Mosley and senior Korissa White set up the hitters with 13 and six assists respectively.
 
Ashlyn Johnson was key for the YellowJacket defense coming up with 11 digs while sophomore Liz Williams added seven.
 
LeTourneau will have two more ASC matches tomorrow as they take on McMurry at 10 a.m. and follow that up with a showdown against host team Concordia in Austin.
