The YellowJackets never trailed as they blew past the Eagles for a 92-69 victory on Thursday night in Solheim Arena. LeTourneau has now won eight straight games including five straight conference wins to improve to 6-3 in the ASC and 12-4 overall.

LETU matches their win total from a season ago when they finished 12-13 overall. They continue to build on the longest winning streak since joining NCAA Division III.
Caleb Loggins had an efficient night for LETU shooting 9-11 from the floor including the first three-point field goal of his career. Loggins finished with a career-high 20 points and also pulled down seven rebounds.

Caylab Herrera racked up 12 points and 12 rebounds in his first double-double of the season. Herrera had a career-high five assists and five offensive rebounds.

Alec Colhoff also finished with 20 points for LeTourneau as the senior guard sank five from beyond the arc. Colhoff started off the game with a two-handed alley-oop dunk as the YellowJackets jumped out to an 19-4 lead in the first four minutes.

"We had a lot of success going inside tonight. I was proud of how the guys were sharing the ball as we assisted on 27 baskets," said head coach
Dan Miller after the win. "After the fast start we had a little lull from not being solid and not taking care of the ball."

Christian Seidl three-pointer would push the lead to 22 at the 10:33 mark, the largest lead of the first half for LETU. Seidl finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

The YellowJackets held the high-scoring Eagles offense in check as Ozarks came in averaging 91 points per game thanks to ASC's leading scorer, Josh Berard, averaging 25.9 per contest. LETU held Berard to 13 points on 3-15 shooting from the field.

In the second half LeTourneau shored up the turnovers only committing three in the final period and just nine in the game. The YellowJackets came into the game fourth in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.63 and eighth in turnovers per game at 10.2.

Cordele Jackson erupted off the bench to score seven straight points in a career-high performance.

"I was proud of the way we came back out the second half and responded and value the ball and finished our possessions," said Miller. "Now we need a great practice tomorrow as we have a very good team coming in here Saturday."

The YellowJackets will square off with UT Dallas on Saturday afternoon in another ASC East Division battle. The Comets will enter the game at 3-11 overall and 2-5 in conference play. Tipoff is tabbed for 3 p.m. at Solheim Arena.
