YellowJacket baseball fell 16-4 in game one of Friday's American Southwest Conference doubleheader with Belhaven University as the Blazers used a nine-run second inning to pull away early in the game. LETU tried to answer in game two and held a 6-1 lead heading into the eighth inning.

Andrew Harlan pitched a gem in game two allowing just three hits and two runs. Harlan struck out a career-high nine batters in his 7.2-inning effort on the mound for the YellowJackets.

Jacob Faubion went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and two runs scored in the second game.
Gonzalo Sosa tallied the other three RBIs for LeTourneau with a sacrifice fly and two RBI single in the fifth inning.

The YellowJackets will look to steal the series finale on Saturday with the single nine-inning game starting at 1 p.m. at Conrad-Vernon Field. It marks the final home game of the season and Senior Day for the four LETU seniors being recognized and honored before the game.
