Bailey Deatherage authored the YellowJackets' lone point with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Sarah Duran at No. 3 singles.
Deatherage and
Maddison Brackenreg lost to Ishika Gupta and Shannon Sertz, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles.
Summer Apostalo and
Amber Van Duyn suffered an 8-0 loss to Qingyue Li and Duran at the No. 2 spot.
Samantha Trevino and
Sierra Giesen Linssen fell to Abby Kushner Benson and Kathryn Materick, 8-1, at No. 3.
Brackenreg dropped her No. 1 singles match to Li, 6-2, 6-4. Trevino lost to Gupta, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 2. Giesen Linssen lost her No. 4 singles battle with Sertz, 6-3, 6-0. Apostalo lost to Kathryn Materick, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 5. Van Duyn fell to Laura Haley, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 6.
The YellowJackets will meet Millikin at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hilton Head Beach & Tennis.
