About Hardin-Simmons
Hardin-Simmons went 1-1 this past weekend, defeating Concordia, 3-0, but falling to UMHB, 3-0. The Cowgirls are currently ranked sixth in the ASC standings. Offensively, HSU is directed by Taylor Salone and Alicia Becerra, tallying 117 and 107 kills, respectively. Hannah Huckabee and Alice Meyer hold down the assist duties with 189 and 179 assists, respectively. Defensively, Cali Carter leads the team with 205 digs, while Salone protects the net with 38 blocks.
About McMurry
McMurry dropped two matches this past weekend, losing to UMHB 3-0 and Concordia 3-2. The War Hawks have fallen in its last four contests, currently standing eighth in the ASC. McMurry's offensive weapons are spearheaded by Kaylie Vasil who leads the team in kills with 131. Myranda Salcedo plays a key role on the offensive side as she leads the War Hawks in assists with 230. Defensively, Adile Leal leads the squad in digs with 208, while Megan Martinez totals 33 blocks to lead McMurry.
