LONGVIEW, Texas – Kiersten Reeser sets a LeTourneau women's soccer career record with eight shutouts in a 0-0 draw against Ozarks Saturday at the Joyce Family Athletic Village.

After 110 minutes without a goal by either side, the Yellowjackets improved to 2-10-2 overall and 0-5-1 against American Southwest Conference opponents. The Eagles moved to 2-8-3, 1-5-2.

"The energy and work ethic were on full display today," head coach Alyssa Taramona said. "I'm proud of their ability to continue fighting and played with confidence the entire game."

The Ozarks offense kept Reeser's attention all game long, peppering her with 29 shots but just nine were on target. While most of the shots came from distance or offline and not really a threat, Reeser
made four outstanding stops, protecting her clean sheet.

Letourneau's attack displayed more precision, placing 50 percent of the 12 attempts on goal.

The Yellowjackets close out the season with tilts at Sul Ross State Oct. 21 at 3:30 p.m. before taking on Howard Payne at 3:30 p.m. two days later. They return home for the finale against East Texas Baptist Oct. 29. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. with senior day festivities commencing before the match.
