BELTON, Texas – LeTourneau University men's tennis team swept Mary Hardin-Baylor, 9-0, putting a fitting end to its three-match weekend.
 
The YellowJackets (2-1) coasted through doubles in dominating fashion. 
Julian Lee and 
Patrick Baney rolled over Cody Aaron and Robert Galligan, 8-1, at the No. 1 position. 
Rodrigo Vazquez Chairez and 
Nathan Schmidt blanked Alejandro Omana and Thomas Knightstep, 8-0, at No. 2. 
Miles Grubbs and 
Jonah McGinty were 8-2 winners over Ty Marshall and John Swords at No. 3.
 
Lee beat Omana, 6-4, 6-2, at the No. 1 singles flight. Vazquez Chairez beat Aaron, 7-5. 6-3, at No. 2. Schmidt defeated Galligan, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 3. Baney cruised past Swords, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 4. 
Gavin Meyer breezed by Marshall, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 5. 
Jeffrey Golladay was a 6-3, 6-1 winner over Knightstep at No. 6.
 
It was Golladay's first match of the season.
 
Grubbs and McGinty went 3-0 together in pairs play on the weekend. Schmidt and Vazquez Chairez also had a perfect road trip in pairs play.
 
The YellowJackets will host Concordia Texas 4 p.m. Friday in the home opener.
