Sewanee, Tenn. – LeTourneau University women's soccer team lost to Maryville College, 1-0, Saturday evening in the final day of the Sewanee Fall Classic.
After a scoreless battle for 60 minutes, Maryville's Katie O'Brien found the back of the net on an assist from Haley Cartt, taking a 1-0 lead over the YellowJackets.

Reagan Sandford had a chance to put the Jackets ahead but sent it wide left. Sandford had another crack at reaching the back of the net at the 67
th minute mark when she sent blasted an attempt, but it sailed wide. LETU had two more chances to score when
Drew Lessert and
Haley Salazar sent a shot, but the Scots' goalkeeper Sophie Turner rejected both.
Jackets' goalkeeper
Kiersten Reeser had a season-high nine saves. Maryville's Turner had two saves.

LeTourneau tallied one corner kick and committed nine fouls. The Scots registered five corner kicks and had eight fouls.
