CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – Cameron Pfafman registered two hits for LETU in an 18-1 loss against Ozarks in the opener of Friday's American Southwest Conference doubleheader at Lonnie Qualls Field.

The YellowJackets fell to 13-22 overall, including 10-18 in league play, while the Eagles moved to 13-23, 12-16.

Trevor Bates smashed his first-career double, with a pinch-hit RBI two-bagger in the sixth. Ethan Wood and Weston McKinley recorded a knock each, while Dane Jones scored the lone run.

Ozarks jumped out to an eight-run advantage after one frame and tacked on with at least one in each time at-bat. The Eagles added solo tallies in the second, fifth and sixth and hung two in the third and five in the fourth.

The YellowJackets used five pitchers, fanning nine Eagles. Zac Schneider the only one able to escape without allowing a run.
