CONWAY, Ark. -- The LeTourneau men's tennis team took two doubles matches, but could not hold the lead in a 6-3 loss to Hendrix on the road in non-conference play on Saturday morning in Conway.
The loss drops LeTourneau to 3-7 on the year.
The YellowJackets took two close matches at the top two flights in doubles to open up a 2-1 match lead.
Julian Lee and
Zach Farris teamed up at the top spot and earned an 8-6 win over the host Warriors' Agustin Kalinowski and Cason Cole.
Andres Urrutia and
Miles Grubbs took down Rowan McCollum and Eric Meyne in a tiebreak 8-7(5) as the YellowJackets took a one-point lead.
Lee and Farris moved to 4-2 as a tandem this season, all at the top flight.
Farris notched his ninth singles win of the year as he moved to the No. 2 line and defeated McCollum 6-2, 6-4.
Hendrix (6-4) took the other five flights in singles play to rally back for the win.
