For the second time in 24 hours LeTourneau (19-21, 13-14 ASC) found a walk-off against UT Dallas (23-17, 15-12 ASC). With a win today the YellowJackets clinch a postseason birth to the conference tournament.
LeTourneau honored its senior class --

Shane Salzman, and
Cole Thompson -- before the games for their contributions and dedication to the program throughout their careers.
GAME ONE: YellowJackets walk it off again! LETU 2, UTD 1.
UT Dallas put up the first run in the second inning after Austin Nairn bounced one past the center fielder in
Dane Jones for a triple. Jaeger Self took full advantage and put one in play to mark an RBI and take the early lead.
The pitching battle then ensued as both pitchers went the distance. While there were opportunities on both sides of the innings no runs were scored until the bottom of the seventh.
The seventh inning started with a walk for
Cole Thompson to reach base.
Lane Williams put one in a spot where the Comets almost turned two but was beat out by Williams at first.
Ethan Wood carried an eight-game hitting streak into the day as he came up to the plate, he sent it down to the right field side for a stand-up double to extend the streak to nine and ignite the rally. This left two runners in scoring position with only a single out in the inning which prompted the Comets to intentionally walk
Kyle Maysonave, as his run would not matter with two in scoring position already and just a 1-0 lead, to try and turn two.
Devin Greaff stepped up with bases loaded and found a hit right down the middle for an RBI single to tie the game and keep the bases loaded with a single out on the board.
Carter Amarantos finished the game off with his ball off the 1-0 pitch that was put into play and marked an RBI as Wood crossed home plate for the walk-off.
Riley Davis (3-5) got the win as he allowed six hits, one earned run and marked a strikeout. He finished the game with a total of 106 pitches for the outing as the sole LeTourneau pitcher for the win.
Dylan Hugley (3-4) had the mound for the visitors and receives the loss. He allowed six hits as well, two earned runs, a wild pitch, and marked five strikeouts.
GAME TWO: UTD 7, LETU 1
LeTourneau out-hits the Comets 5-2 but comes up short in the end, losing 7-1 in conference game number 27-of-27 of the season.
UT Dallas cracked open the scoreboard in the fourth inning drawing an error and a few walks to take the lead. Brayshon Savage extended the lead to 2-0 with an RBI for his groundout.
The YellowJackets found their end of the scoreboard in the fifth inning when Greaff singled to left center field for an RBI to bring Williams home to show 2-1 on the board after five.
The Comets added to the score in the sixth inning with a grand slam by Andrew Skivington to make it 7-1 after an RBI single from Savage.
Dalton Pickett (0-7) got the loss, he pitched 5.1 innings allowing two hits, seven runs, four earned and marked three strikeouts.
Kyle Maysonave also saw the mound for the Jackets, he marked two strikeouts for 1.2 innings.
Shane Salzman also marked a pair of Ks for his 1.0 innings of work. Spitdowski had a strikeout for 1.0 innings pitched.
Kenny Garza (1-1) marked a win for UT Dallas. He started the day for the Comets and went 7.0 innings. Garza allowed four hits, one earned run, and marked six strikeouts.
