Defensively, Morgan Nix (25), Shannon (11), Lawson (6), Elyse McKinney (3), and Maddy Hirneise (3) collected majority of the digs and Amya Orn, Emma Smith, and Nora Lockhart had two assisted blocks apiece.

A competitive first set saw Centenary's Ladies close the gap to 18-15, but LeTourneau responded with a 7-3 run, thanks to three kills from Yari Ortiz in that set-ending final stretch.

A 10-3 set two opening run was highlighted by Ashlyn Walther's first kill of the match, and the YellowJackets took it from from there, with Taylor and Monk collecting two kills apiece (three of which were assisted by Childs) to end the set on a 7-0 run and give LeTourneau a 2-0 set advantage.
