ABILENE, Texas -- The No. 4 seeded LeTourneau men's soccer team had their season come to a close on Sunday with a 2-0 loss to No. 2 seed Hardin Simmons in the ASC tournament championship match.
The YellowJackets were making a second trip to the ASC Tournament championship round in three years under head coach
Brady Van Holland after advancing past No. 1 seed Mary Hardin-Baylor on Thursday.
After a red card was given to
Kristian Princ in the 12th minute, the YellowJackets were forced to play the majority of the match with just ten men on the pitch. This forced them to slide a man back and sacrifice an attacker.
The home Cowboys were able to capitalize on the extra man twice in the first half scoring in the 28th and the 37th minutes, with goals from Jakob Fiol and Nick Ocasio. Hardin-Simmons (12-5-2) earns the ASC automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Marcos Gonzalez. Carson Null was just able to gather the Gonzalez shot into outstretched arms.
The second was in the 51st minute with a long shot taken by
Joshua Van Wagener.
Gonzalez,
