HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The LeTourneau women's tennis team concluded its trip to Hilton Head with a 6-1 loss to NCAA Division II foe Millersville on Tuesday.
LeTourneau (4-6) won two matches on its spring break trip.
Emmy Phillips notched the point for the YellowJackets. In an abbreviated match at the No. 6 spot, Phillips bested Victoria Schrader by an 8-5 final.
Millersville (3-3) took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 flights. The top flight was not played due to the clinch already occurring.
Isa Casso narrowly fell at the No. 1 singles flight to Hui Jen Soo 6-3, 7-6(6).
Kylie Weeks and
Chloe Tesser also had tight matches before falling.
