BELTON, Texas -- The LeTourneau men's tennis team fell to ASC foe Mary Hardin-Baylor, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon in Belton.
LeTourneau falls to 5-8 on the year and 0-2 in conference play.
The YellowJackets' two points came at the top two spots in singles play.
Zach Farris defeated Joaquim Fernandes 6-3, 6-0 at the top spot. At the No. 2 flight,
Andrew Reiman earned a 6-3, 7-6 win over Marcus Torres.
Mary Hardin-Baylor (5-6, 1-0 ASC) took all three doubles matches to go up 1-0 in the match. Farris and
Fernando Vazquez kept it close at the top flight before falling 6-4 to Nicolas Cusano and Fernandes.
Reiman and
Diego Maldonado also narrowly fell at the No. 2 flight in a 7-5 loss to Fernando Andrade and Torres.
UP NEXT
LeTourneau returns home on Monday to face Whitworth (3 p.m.).
