Galloway, Jett Named to SCAC All-Sportsmanship Teams

SUWANEE, Ga. -- LeTourneau track and field junior Alayna Galloway and sophomore Austin Jett were both named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Sportsmanship teams for their respective sports, announced the league on Thursday.

In its 17th year, the SCAC recognizes student-athletes from each institution and each sport. Each head coach was asked to elect one member from his or her team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the 2025 spring season.

Galloway, a junior from Montgomery, Texas, competed in 11 meets during the track season and ran a personal record time in the 1500-meter at the SCAC Championships. Galloway had three personal record times during the season. The junior was the ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year for cross country in 2023.

Jett, a sophomore from Magnolia, Texas, competed in 10 meets during the track season. At the SCAC Championships, Jett posted a personal-best time in the 800-meter at 1:59.17. He also set personal record times in the mile and 1500-meter events on the year.

LeTourneau competed in the SCAC as an affiliate member for track and field during the 2024-25 season. The YellowJacket athletic programs will join the SCAC in all sports beginning on July 1, 2025.
