LONGVIEW, Texas -- LeTourneau men's track and field/cross country student-athletes Isaac Flora, Hudson McGuire, Elijah Oudyn, Calvin Mason, and Austin Jett were all named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team, announced the organization on Tuesday.

CSC, formerly known as CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in their sport and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track and cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Flora, a senior from West Noble, Ind., collects his second straight CSC Academic All-District honor. The senior competed in six track meets and three cross country meets on the year, setting multiple personal records in track. His indoor 800-meter time ranked 50th in the West region, which qualified him for the Academic All-District honor.

Majoring in aviation maintenance, Flora earned SCAC Academic Honor Roll this year and was a two-time ASC Academic All-Conference honoree.

McGuire, a senior from Cibolo, Texas, becomes a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection. He was part of the indoor DMR team that earned USTFCCCA All-West Region honors this season. McGuire also collected All-ASC second team in cross country as he helped the YellowJackets to a conference title.

Majoring in mechanical engineering, McGuire earned SCAC Academic Honor Roll this year and was a three-time ASC Academic All-Conference member.

Oudyn, a junior from Yorkville, Ill., earns his first career CSC Academic All-District nod. The junior earned first team All-ASC in cross country as he finished fifth at the ASC meet to help the YellowJackets to a conference title. In track, Oudyn had the 13th-best region time in the indoor 5,000-meter event at 15:46.21. 

Majoring in mechanical engineering, Oudyn earned SCAC Academic Honor Roll this year and was a two-time ASC Academic All-Conference honoree.

Mason, a sophomore from New London, Texas, collects his first CSC Academic All-District nod. The sophomore had a record-breaking season and earned three USTFCCCA All-Region honors. Mason ranked first in the West region and 39th nationally in the shot put event. His top mark of the season came at the SCAC Championships with a distance of 15.95 meters (52'4) as he became the first YellowJacket to win a SCAC individual title. The mark was a program record as Mason broke the record multiple times throughout the season.

Mason was a three-time All-SCAC performer this season. He earned first in the shot put, second in the hammer, and third in the discus. Mason set program records in all three events during the outdoor season.

Majoring in interdisciplinary studies, Mason earned SCAC Academic Honor Roll. 

Jett, a sophomore from Magnolia, Texas, collects his first career CSC Academic All-District honor. The sophomore three personal records during the track season, including a top outdoor 800-meter time of 1:59.17 at the SCAC Championships. Jett was named to the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team.

Majoring in biology, Jett was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll this year after earning ASC Academic All-Conference last season.

To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-America® program students must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA, finish in the top 50 regionally in a track event or at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, and be at least a sophomore academically.
