HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- After falling on Monday night, the LeTourneau women's tennis team responded by defeating Greenville, 5-2, to conclude its Spring Break trip to Hilton Head.

LeTourneau (5-2) fell to Lake Forest on Monday by a 7-0 final, but the YellowJackets finished the trip 3-1 and have won five of the last six matches overall.

On Tuesday, LeTourneau had to fight off a strong challenge from Greenville (6-3) to pick up the win.

Kylie Weeks and Chloe Tesser notched a 6-3 win over Lanie Carter and Lily Gregory at the No. 1 flight in doubles while Maddie Nichol and Anaiah Smith were also 6-3 winners over Emily Kowalke and Jaidyn Goode at No. 2.

The YellowJackets then cleaned up on the first four lines in singles play.

Weeks was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over Lanie Carder at the top flight and Nichol also picked up her second win of the match with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Gregory at No. 2. Smith clinched the match for LeTourneau with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Elena Warren at the No. 4 flight.
