GAME ONE: LeTourneau 6, St. Thomas 5

LeTourneau held off a ninth-inning rally from St. Thomas to take Friday's first game, 6-5.

A scoreless game into the sixth, LeTourneau broke through with three runs. Brady plated Austin Wiederhold with an RBI double and Savage followed with a two-run double to make it 3-0.

St. Thomas picked away at the margin with two in the seventh, but LeTourneau added three in the ninth for a 6-2 lead. Savage was in the middle of it again in the ninth with a two-run single after Jack Kale had singled home Seth Hudson.

The host Celts scored three runs in the ninth and had runners at second and third with two outs, but LeTourneau closer Cruz Cox got Miguel Acosta to ground out to end the game.
