LONGVIEW, Texas -- LeTourneau women's soccer continued its onslaught through the early 2026 campaign, downing Texas College 5-0 on Tuesday night.
In their return to the Joyce Family Athletic Village, the YellowJackets (4-1) picked back up where they left off, earning their fourth straight win.
LeTourneau outshot the Steers (0-5) at a remarkable 32-1 clip, placing 13 shots on frame.
Reigning SCAC Offensive Player of the Week
Chanel Kemball-Cook opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, pushing her conference-leading goal mark to six.
Kennedy Gortney dumped a pass off to
Lana Whiteman, who found Kemball-Cook sprinting up the right wing for an easy one-on-one chance.
Angel Reyes not only netted her first career goal in the 32nd, but tacked on one more for good luck to cap the match late in the second half (85').
Chloe Guzman also collected her first goal (59') in a YellowJacket kit, scoring an easy through ball from
Sierra Kemball-Cook, who one-touched a pass from
Avery Gortney to make the score 3-0.
Natalie Alvarado (2) pushed the lead to 4-0 in the 71st off an incredible corner kick, whipping it inside the back post to put the game out of reach.
Sierra Kemball-Cook and
Kennedy Gortney earned their third assists of the year,
Lana Whiteman her second, and
Avery Gortney recorded her first collegiate assist.
Olivia Flores and
Kinsey Fulks split the clean sheet in goal, with Fulks collecting the lone save of the match.
