SUWANEE, Ga. -- Coming off a top-10 finish to open the season, LeTourneau men's golf sophomore Brody Holmlund was named the SCAC Golfer of the Week, announced the league on Wednesday.

Holmlund earns his first career conference weekly honor and becomes the sixth different YellowJacket to earn a SCAC Golfer of the Week award since LeTourneau joined the conference in 2025.

A sophomore from Round Rock, Texas, Holmlund led the No. 13-ranked YellowJackets to a second-place finish at the John Nellermoe Classic. He finished tied for sixth overall with an even-par, 216 (69-75-72). Holmlund opened the tournament with a career-best 3-under, 69 with four birdies. His final round of even-par, 72, included three birdies and he registered nine birdies in the tournament.

Holmlund was the top SCAC performer in the tournament, which also served as a preview of the SCAC Championships in April 2027.

Holmlund earned his second career top-10 finish and lowered his career scoring average to 75.45.

LeTourneau returns to action on Sept. 21-22 at the NCAA Division III Preview at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
