Brian Fischer will begin his fourth season in the fall of 2001. Fischer came to LeTourneau after spending two years at the University of Missouri at Columbia where he earned a masters degree in Exercise Physiology. Fischer serves as the assistant men’s basketball coach, director of the Solheim Recreation and Activity Center, and Intramural Director.
A Colorado native, Fischer graduated from Brighton High School in Brighton, CO. In 1995, he received his Bachelor's Degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois where he studied Biology and played two years of varsity basketball. Following Wheaton, he taught science and coached seventh and eighth grade basketball, soccer, and baseball at Faith Christian Academy for one year.
Fischer was recently married to his wife Amber and together they enjoy maintaining active lifestyles in which running triathlons, mountain biking, and snowboarding are among their favorite hobbies. They also enjoy camping and backpacking in the outdoors with their dog, Meshack.
