Gil Williams

Gil Williams is in his second season as a student assistant for the men's basketball team at LeTourneau University.
 
Prior to coming to LeTourneau, Williams spent a year as a student assistant at NCAA Division I member - University of Louisiana at Monroe. While at ULM, under head coach Keith Richard, they posted their first 20-win season since 2002 and made it to the championship series of the CBI tournament, which was their first post-season appearance since 1996. 
 
The Pullman, Washington native played two years of junior college basketball for head coach Laren Silver at Western Texas College. While at WTC, they finished his freshman season with a record of 23-7 and made it to the Region V tournament.

Williams earned his Associate of Arts in Communications at Western Texas College and is currently pursuing his bachelor's in psychology at LeTourneau. He is the son of Walt and Carol Williams and one of nine children.
