2015-16 (as a freshman): Played in 17 games…starting in one game...On the season, Mattson had a field goal percentage of .238 and a free throw percentage of .750 his freshmen season while taking 2 defensive charges.
Prior to LeTourneau: Averaged 12.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game during his senior season at Kingwood High School...during his two years on varsity, he knocked down 85 3-pointers to lead the team and he was also the team leader in charges taken.
Personal: Son of Paul and Sharlene Lawrence...a biology major with an emphasis in pre-med. Has been accepted to Texas Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP)...he is guaranteed acceptance to one of Texas' nine medical schools.
