LeTourneau University Athletics

2012 (as a sophomore): Played in 17 games, earning a start in 11...had six shots...scored for the second-straight year against Ozarks (Oct. 6).

2011 (as a freshman): Made 14 appearances for the YellowJackets, starting six games...scored a goal in LeTourneau's 4-1 victory over McMurry (Oct. 28)...notched an assist in LETU's 3-0 win against The Ozarks (Oct. 14)...played a total of 408 minutes.

Prior to LeTourneau: Played under head coach Douglas Montaño at the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center in Santa Cruz, Bolivia...team finished third place in its city league during his junior year…was his league’s Fair Play Award recipient for fewest cards handed out...highlights included a scoring a goal in the last five minutes of his team’s quarterfinal match during his junior season...co-captain of his team as a senior...named a Distinguished Athlete and also given the Distinguished Leadership award by the Association of Christian Schools International...named to his high school’s honor roll.

Personal: Son of Ponciano and Gina Canaviri...a mechanical engineering major.
