2013: Participated in 16 games, starting 15...scored game-winning agoals against Hendrix (Oct. 8) and Ozarks (Oct. 12)...tied for fourth on the team with goals (2)...fourth on the team in shots (22)...had seven shots on goal...posted an assist in wins over East Texas Baptist (Sept. 26) and Howard Payne (Oct. 18)...played 860 minutes over the course of the season.

2011: Played in and started all 18 games for the YellowJackets ... Scored two goals and had one assist on the season ... Recorded a goal in LeTourneau's 4-0 win at Louisiana College on Oct. 20 ... Scored the go-ahead goal in the YellowJackets' 4-1 victory over McMurry on Oct. 28 ... Had an assist in LETU's 3-2 triumph over East Texas Baptist on Sept. 27 ... Finished the season with five points while playing 1197 minutes.

2010: Started in all 18 of LeTourneau's contests as a freshman ... Finished the season with four assists ... Registered his first points as a collegian when tallied two assists in LeTourneau's 4-0 victory over rival East Texas Baptist (9/30/2010) ... Matched his career best when chalked up two assists in the YellowJackets' 5-1 triumph over Louisiana College (10/22/2010) ... Played an average of 83 minutes in the YellowJackets' first three matches of the season ... Was on the field for all 110 minutes of LeTourneau's 3-2 double-overtime win over then No. 7-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor (9/17/2010) ... Played all 90 minutes and helped anchor the defense in LeTourneau's 3-0 shutout at Ozarks (10/14/2010) ... Played every minute of the match without a substitution six times during the season.

PREP: Was a two-year letterwinner at Hurst High School ... Started every match for Hurst during his junior and senior varsity seasons ... Helped lead his team into the UIL state playoffs as a junior in 2009 ... Earned second team all-district honors following his senior season.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Cristina Pimienta and Esteban Najera ... Has one brother, Logan Najera ... Enjoys hanging out with friends and having fun ... Says its always a thrill as a soccer player to get a big win after competing in a well-played game ... Is majoring in math education.
