Justin Jones is in his first season as a student assistant coach with the women's basketball team at LeTourneau University. He spent the 2014-15 season as a student assistant with the LETU men's basketball program.
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Jones was a standout on the LETU men's basketball team, where he earned multiple honors. In 2013-14, he was named as the LETU Male Athlete of the Year and Third Team All-ASC. In 2012-13, Jones was named first team all-ASC East Division for his efforts.Â
Jones ranks second all-time in field goal percentage (.576) and seventh in field goals (450). He had one of the best all-around seasons during his senior season where his 303 field goals ranks second all-time and 672 points is third.
