Laura Daulton was named the full-time assistant coach for the LeTourneau women's basketball program in July 2023. The 2023-24 season was her first with the YellowJackets. She departed the program following the 2023-24 season.

Daulton came to Longview after serving as an assistant coach at the U.S. Air Force Academy last season and one year as an assistant at East Texas Baptist.

"I am so excited to be on staff here at LeTourneau," Daulton said. "There have been so many great improvements not only throughout that athletic department, but the institution as a whole. Everyone I have interacted with has been so warm and welcoming towards me. I am blessed to be under the leadership of Coach MacAllister. He is extremely knowledgeable of the game of basketball and takes pride in the fact that his program is Christ-centered."

“A great hire for our program, athletic department, and university," added head coach Scot MacAllister. "Laura’s faith focus, experience at the Division I and III levels, along with her ties to Texas have already paid dividends. She jumped in with both feet after her hiring. Her work ethic is outstanding and has been evident since day one. I’m extremely excited to have her work with our program and players as we continue to improve day by day.”

After a playing career at Utah State, Daulton entered the coaching ranks in 2020. She served as a graduate assistant and director of basketball operations at East Texas Baptist in 2020-21. Daulton was part of head coach Blake Arbogast's staff that guided the Tigers to a top-five national ranking. Daulton worked primarily with the post players and had two earn All-ASC honors in her one season.

In 2022-23, Daulton was on staff as an assistant at Air Force where she worked with post players. Air Force went 13-18 and won eight games in the Mountain West Conference as Daulton assisted in several aspects within the program.

"My favorite part of my job is impacting the lives of young women and being able to do that at a Christian Institution is the idea situation for me," continued Daulton. "I will be working primarily with our post players and I hope to bring a positive and energetic presence to the basketball court. I have previously coached in the ASC and know the level of talent we need to recruit to be successful."

Daulton graduated from Utah State in 2020 with a degrees in business and finance from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. She completed her Master of Business Administration degree from East Texas Baptist in 2021.
