Nick Williams joined the LeTourneau volleyball program in March 2022. He completed his third season with the program in 2024.

Prior to his arrival at LeTourneau, Williams spent two seasons as assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at NCAA DII Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tenn.

From 2014-19, Williams served as assistant coach at NAIA member Martin Methodist in Pulaski, Tennessee, where he specialized in areas of defense, scouting and recruiting. During his time at Martin Methodist, Williams helped lead the RedHawks from the bottom of the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) to the national stage, culminating in three consecutive 20-win seasons his last three years and the program’s first-ever NAIA National Tournament victory.

After Martin Methodist won just .333 of its matches in his first season, Williams helped the RedHawks to an impressive 27-11 (.711) record and SSAC regular season and tournament championships. The 2019 campaign was highlighted by a stellar defense, which ranked in the top 10 nationally in a pair of statistical categories. For his efforts, Williams earned 2019 SSAC Assistant Coach of the Year and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/NAIA Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

Over his last three seasons at Martin Methodist, Williams coached 19 all-conference players, including nine first-team all-conference selections. Under Williams’ direction, Sydney Arnold earned back-to-back SSAC Setter of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year accolades in 2018 and 2019, while Hayley Brisendine garnered NAIA All-American accolades after collecting SSAC Libero of the Year and AVCA Northeast Region Defender of the Year honors.

Prior to Martin Methodist, Williams coached club volleyball with Ocoee Heat Volleyball Club where he helped guide his 16’s team to a second-place finish at the SRVA Regionals. He has also served as a guest instructor and coach at multiple camps and clinics throughout the Southeast.

Williams earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Physical Education with an emphasis in Sport Management from Martin Methodist.

Nick is married to head coach Alison Williams and the couple have three children: Michael, Ava, and Andrew.
