Sandra Campbell

Sandra Campbell is beginning her fifth season as the assistant volleyball coach at LeTourneau University.
 

Campbell brings an extensive coaching background to LeTourneau that includes serving as a coach with the 412 Elite Volleyball Club, East Texas Juniors Volleyball Club, Club South and as the camp coordinator at Pilot Point ISD.

With the YellowJackets, she is involved in the training of the middle blockers as well as the academic progress, travel, recruiting, video editing and other key areas within the program. 

Campbell came to LeTourneau from Erskine College in Due West, S.C, where she earned her bachelor’s degree and was a two-year member of the volleyball team. She earned the Conference Carolinas Player of the Year Award in 2011 after leading the league in kills per set (3.92), andranking second in blocks per set (1.00) and fifth in hitting percentage (0.303).

A First Team All-Conference Carolinas selection in 2010 and 2011, she also played two years for the volleyball team at South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C., before transferring to Erskine. 
Campbell spent two summers as a camp counselor for The Master's Academy Volleyball Camp, where she taught high school and middle school students the fundamentals of volleyball.


Off the court, she has a great presence in the community, singing in a gospel choir, participating in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and being a part of the choir and praise and worship band at Midway Church. Campbell also has served as a children's ministry Sunday school teacher at Midway.
