LONGVIEW, Texas – LeTourneau men's soccer dropped a 2-0 decision to Dallas Baptist Saturday afternoon at LETU Soccer Field. Anthony Martinez played all 90 minutes in goal for the YellowJackets, making seven saves on the evening.

After a scoreless first half, Dallas Baptist was able to get on the board on a penalty-kick goal by David Balveat in the 50th minute.

Matthew Steffens provided an insurance goal for Dallas Baptist in the 83rd minute on an assist by Landon Lacy.

Dallas Baptist had 21 shots on the evening, nine on goal, while LeTourneau finished the game with 15 shots (four on goal).

Hunter Hembrough had seven shots for LeTourneau, including one on goal, while Blake Pickett, Danny Canaviri, and Israel Madrid each had shots on goal for the YellowJackets.

LeTourneau will hit the field again Sept. 7, where the YellowJackets will play at Austin College.
